Ideal for teachers, students or anyone who desires quality maps at the click of a mouse, PrintableWorldMap.net offers continent maps, country maps, state maps and region maps with several variations of each.
Most of the maps are available as both blank maps and in versions with the place names included. Another option on several designs is a version with lines on which students to fill in the names of countries or states. Most maps can be printed in either portrait or landscape orientation.
"My goal with PrintableWorldMap.net is to make it easy to find, download and print the maps you need for the classroom or any setting," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "All of the maps are free, which makes them a great choice for any cash-strapped teacher or family."
For convenience, the site also offers a premium option: entire map collections in one file for $9 each. Rather than downloading each PDF file individually, buyers can purchase an entire collection of continent, hemisphere or state maps and save them to their computer to print again and again at no additional charge.
