In response to requests from savvy shoppers, ten free printable menu planners and grocery lists have been added to the Web site FreePrintableGroceryList.com.
The site features more than 30 grocery lists and shopping lists in a variety of designs, from simple three-per-sheet blank lists to a detailed master grocery list with dozens of food and household items filled in and ready to check off. There are also specialty grocery lists for low-carb diets and healthy foods (a new addition) as well as a pantry grocery list with suggestions on what to stockpile.
All of the lists are free to download and print in either PDF or .DOC form. The .DOC versions can be edited in Microsoft Word, so users can customize the lists to their own shopping needs.
"The editable versions are especially handy when you want to type in your own frequently purchased items and create a customized list," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator.
Like the grocery lists, the menu planners can be customized by typing into the templates' various fields. There are versions with colorful illustrations as well as menu planners with room for a shopping list. There is room to plan breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.
"The menu planners have multiple uses," Savetz said. "You could post them on your refrigerator as a reminder, or to let family members know what's coming up at mealtime. Or, take your menu to the grocery store with you to make sure you're buying all the ingredients you need."
There are nearly 50 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
