With 2009 almost at a close, families and businesses are turning to the Web site Printable2010calendar.net to download and print 2010 calendars for free.
There are many calendar variations on the site, from monthly calendars to all-on-one page calendars to wallet-size calendars. Some of the calendars have the holidays written in, while others designate these special days by displaying the dates in red text. There are both ascending and descending versions of several of the calendars, as well as the option to print calendars that are oriented vertically or horizontally.
All of the calendars are free to instantly download and print in either PDF or .DOC format. The monthly calendars can be downloaded individually, or as one convenient download consisting of all 12 months of 2010.
"While the PDF calendars are quick and convenient, may users prefer the also easy-to-use .DOC versions because they can be customized," explained Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "Just open the calendar in Microsoft Word and type in special events, appointments, family birthdays, and so on. You can even change fonts and colors if you'd like."
Printable2010calendars.net was actually launched earlier in the year, as a follow-up to the popular site Printable2009calendars.net, but in recent weeks even more calendar variations were added to the site.
The newest additions include calendars that start on Monday, 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 academic calendars, calendars with weekends shaded, and a calendar with very large dates for people with vision problems or who just like being able to see the date from across a room.
There are nearly 60 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
