There are sci fi-themed bookmarks, Western bookmarks and Christian bookmarks as well as bookmarks for mystery lovers and fans of fantasy books. There are also birthday bookmarks for gift-giving and bookmarks with designs inspired by the four seasons. There are cartoon illustrations along with sophisticated designs.
The bookmarks can be printed on regular printer paper, or, for sturdier bookmarks, cardstock. They are designed to be two-sided so the user can simply cut out the bookmark and then fold it in half. Handy guide marks are included so it's each to gauge where to cut and fold.
"I'm really pleased with these bookmark designs," said Kevin Savetz, the site's creator. "In most of the designs, the image starts on the front and continues to the back, making for a fun heads-tails effect."
The bookmarks are full-color and about 9 inches in height. They are in PDF form, easily viewed and printed with Adobe Acrobat's free Reader. There is no limit to how many bookmarks you can print for free at FreePrintableBookmarks.net.
"Now, you don't have to pay for a pricey bookstore bookmark for each book you're reading, or make do with a scrap of paper," Savetz said.
