Just in time for back-to-school, a new Web site is offering free classroom printables for use by teachers, students and homeschooling parents.
TeachersPrintables.net includes more than 60 forms, charts, classroom management tools and other printables, all free to download and print in either PDF or customizable .DOC format.
There is grade book paper in both horizontal and vertical format, blank lesson plans, field trip forms, seating charts, worksheets, test forms, passes, graphic organizers and much more.
While most of the forms are intended for use by teachers or in homeschool settings, some are also handy for student use, including homework assignment sheets and assignment lists. There are also forms for use in school libraries as well as for substitute teachers.
"I've wanted to offer a Web site just for teachers for quite some time," said Kevin Savetz, creator of TeachersPrintables.net as well as nearly 50 other sites offering free printables. "I am especially pleased to be providing these convenient classroom resources for free, as budgets are tight for most teachers and school districts."
While there is no charge to download the forms individually, there is also a convenient Teachers Printables Collection available as a single download for $27 for a single classroom license, or $67 for a school license. Once the purchase is made, the teacher or school has the right to customize and print the forms again and again, forever. The collection includes not only the 60-plus forms on TeachersPrintables.net in both PDF (to print out and write upon) and .DOC (customize in Microsoft Word) form, but also a bonus of more than a dozen printables of use to teachers, such as graph paper, penmanship paper, note-taking paper and calendars.
"The collection is a great choice for busy teachers and schools who want the convenience of a quick, organized download," Savetz said.
There are nearly 50 sites in the FreePrintable.net family of free printables sites created by Savetz Publishing, Inc., a company devoted to creating useful and informative web sites of interest to consumers and small businesses.
